About Us

Marine Pro is owned and operated by Tim DePriest and Stephen Waller. Tim and Stephen have been involved in boat manufacturing and repair for over 60 years combined. They have held almost every possible position in boat manufacturing - from hourly positions to operations manager. During their manufacturing years, they both noticed a need for reputable and professionally run repair shops that produce quality workmanship in a timely manner. Marine Pro is not the typical “fly-by-night” boat repair shop. The Marine Pro facility has a 10,000 square foot building with over two acres of fenced storage. The shop has an two indoor overhead hoist systems that can lift boats up to 27 feet in length. Marine Pro is fully insured and can provide transportation if needed.

Stephen Waller-30+ years in the marine industry. Stephen grew up in a boat manufacturing plant. His father started building fiberglass boats in 1972 and he followed in his father's footsteps. He has remained in the marine industry from manufacturing to sales his entire career. His most recent position, prior to starting Marine Pro, was director of manufacturing at Bluewater Marine Group.

Tim DePriest- 30+ years in marine industry. Most of Tim's experience comes from high volume boat manufacturing facilities. Tim started building boats in 1981 as an engine rigger for Jimmy Holt Sports Center, in Nashville, TN. He has held numerous other positions including warranty shop manager, plant manager and operations manager for some of the market share leaders in the boat industry. His last position, before Marine Pro, was operations manager for Sea Pro and Palmetto Custom Boats.

	Ray Spicer- Over 20 years of boat manufacturing experience. Ray has numerous talents that he brings to the table, but his real specialty, is in gel coat repair/ restoration.
